Sazmanab presents a one-night-only screening of a selection of video works by artist Anahita Razmi.

Anahita Razmi is a visual artist based in Berlin, working primarily with video, installation, new media, and performance. Her practice reconsiders visual memory, stereotypes, and standards between Orient and Occident. Recent and forthcoming exhibitions include Daily Memories at Kunstmuseum Magdeburg, Music Palace at Villa Empain in Brussels, Perpetually Transient at Kunstraum Riehen in Basel, Encyclonospace Iranica at Access Gallery in Vancouver, The wall behind something/nothing* happened at Laznia Centre in Gdansk, Nostalgia Nervosa at State of Concept and ReMap4 in Athens, Swing State at Stadtgalerie Saarbrücken, Right Brain Problems at Heidelberger Kunstverein, and the solo exhibition Automatic Assembly Actions at Carbon12 Dubai. In 2014, she is awarded the Goethe-Institute Villa Kamogawa Residency in Kyoto. Additional residencies and awards include the MAK-Schindler Artists and Architects-in-Residence Program in Los Angeles and The Emdash Award from the Frieze Foundation.
