International Studio and Curatorial Program (ISCP)

Sohrab Kashani took part in the panel discussion Residency as Refuge? Economies of Residencies, alongside Barrak Alzaid, Wafaa Bilal, and Todd Lester. Organised by ArteEast in collaboration with the International Studio and Curatorial Program (ISCP), the discussion focused on the political, economic, and ethical dimensions of artist residencies. The panel examined residencies as potential sites of refuge, support, and mobility, while also addressing questions of funding structures, institutional responsibility, and the uneven conditions under which artists circulate globally.
