Sazmanab M-40
Sazmanab M-40 (2009–2015) was a temporary apartment-based site established in downtown Tehran in 2014, near the former U.S. embassy. It functioned as a transitional space during the period between Sazmanab’s original apartment venue and its move into a larger three-floor building later that year.
The space was used for experimental and process-driven programming, including workshops and early iterations of projects that would later expand within Sazmanab’s subsequent venues. Programmes at Sazmanab M-40 included The Back Room Workshop, developed in collaboration with CultureHub, as well as the first iteration of Portals.
