Exhibition by Lena Lapschina
Lena Lapschina was born in Kurgan, Siberia and lives and works between Vienna and Lower Austria. She is a co-founder of State of the Art magazine and a curator at M21 (Museum of the Twenty-First Century) in Austria. Since graduating from the State Stroganov University of Fine and Applied Arts in Moscow, her work has been exhibited internationally, including presentations in the Netherlands, Belgium, Italy, Lithuania, Romania, Russia, New York, Vietnam, and Syria. In 2011, Lapschina received the Austrian State Grant for Video and Media Art and has held residencies in Reykjavik, Salzburg, Saigon, Heerlen, California, and St. Christoph.
