Presentation by Neil van der Linden

Neil van der Linden is a Dutch arts agent engaged in cultural exchange between North Africa, the Middle East, Central Asia, the Subcontinent, and the West, and is the co-founder and editor of the Gulf Art Guide.

Since travelling to Iraq in 1992 to report for the Dutch weekly magazine Vrij Nederland on the state of archaeological monuments after the 1990–1991 war, he has specialised in long-term cultural exchange with the Middle East and North Africa. His work includes initiating and organising numerous artistic, musical, and institutional collaborations across regions, advising festivals and cultural organisations, curating international programs, contributing to publications on world music, and developing platforms for cross-cultural dialogue and exchange.
